Whirlpool Washer Error Codes
Whirlpool Washer Error Codes: find your code, try the safe step, and book if it does not clear.
Whirlpool Washer Error Codes explained in plain words: what the display says, the safe thing to try first, and when to book a technician.
These codes come from Whirlpool’s Product Help page for front-load washers. Whirlpool says to clear most codes by pressing Pause or Cancel twice, then Power once. If a code remains, unplug the washer or cut power for 5 minutes, reconnect it and restart.
Codes vary by model: check your manual or the model label.
Before you try anything: switch the appliance off and unplug it, or turn off its breaker, before you touch a hose, filter or panel. Do not open the control board or electronics, and never bypass a safety switch, lock or thermostat to get past a code.
